MOTION
Upon recommendation of Marqaicha Welch, Procurement Manager, the Board of Water Commissioners for the City of Detroit, Water and Sewerage Department authorizes the Director to approve DWSD Contract 6004612 with Process Controls & Instrumentation, LLC for Local Sewer System Metering & Analysis Services, for a total contract amount not-to-exceed $254,000 and a term of 2 years. This also authorizes the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
BACKGROUND / JUSTIFICATION
This proposed contract will provide services and materials for removing, cleaning, installing, and maintaining sewer meter installations for a 2-year period. The purpose of this task item is to continue the efforts of a Detroit system wide flow monitoring plan to refine calibration of the all-pipe sewer model of Detroit, provide data collection for condition assessments and sewer shares allocations.
