MOTION
Upon recommendation of Marqaicha Welch, Procurement Manager, the Board of Water Commissioners for the City of Detroit, Water and Sewerage Department authorizes the Director to approve DWSD Contract 6004356 with Inland Waters Pollution Control, Inc. for Sewer Condition Assessments in Various Locations Throughout the City of Detroit (Project DWS-938) for a total contract amount not-to-exceed $5,994,234.08 and a term of one year. This also authorizes the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
BACKGROUND / JUSTIFICATION
The existing DWSD sewer system within the City limits (approximately 3,000 miles of sewers ranging from 8" thru 168" diameter is estimated to be older than 90 years.
