RE: Storm Water Connection Agreement for the Gordie Howe Internal Bridge Project
MOTION
Upon the request of Chief Operating Officer, Samuel Smalley, the Board of Water Commissioners for the City of Detroit Water and Sewerage Department (DWSD), authorizes the Director to approve the Storm Water Connection Agreement for the Gordie Howe International Bridge Project and also authorize the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
This Agreement is entered into by and between the City of Detroit (DPW and DWSD), the State of Michigan (MDOT) and the Great Lakes Water Authority. The purpose of this Agreement is to define how and where the GHIB will discharge stormwater runoff from the site. The Agreement is attached to this Resolution. Chief Operating Officer Samuel Smalley will provide further detail and be able to answer any questions in regard to this Agreement.
