MOTION
Upon recommendation of Marqaicha Welch, Procurement Manager, the Board of Water Commissioners for the City of Detroit, Water and Sewerage Department authorizes the Director to approve Purchase Order 3092376 with Interstate Trucksource, Inc. to provide three (3) 2027 14 -Yard Dump Trucks on Mack Granite Chassis for a total purchase not-to-exceed amount of $891,820.77. This also authorizes the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
BACKGROUND / JUSTIFICATION
The Detroit Water and Sewerage Department (DWSD) Fleet Operations have requested three (3) 2027 14 -Yard Dump Trucks on Mack Granite Chassis that is replacing three dump trucks and will support the Maintenance and Repair Sewerage Operations Team. The three (3) 2027 14 -Yard Dump Trucks on Mack Granite Chassis are a part of the FY25- FY26 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
