I. Motion:
Upon recommendation of Cheryl Porter, Assistant Director of Water Supply Operations, the Board of Water Commissioners authorizes the Director to grant an extension of one (1) year with two- one (1) year renewal options in contract time with an increase of $1,604,000.00 not to exceed in contract price to Contract No. CS-1445, "Suburban Water and Sewerage Customer Facilitation," with Project Innovations, Inc. (Consultant) and also authorizes the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
II. Justification:
Contract No. CS-1445 provides consulting and facilitation support services for a customer outreach program between the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department (DWSD) and its suburban water and wastewater wholesale customer communities. All costs for the work performed under this contract are borne by DWSD suburban wholesale customers as part of their water and sewer rates. City...
