MOTION
Upon recommendation of Palencia Mobley, P.E., Deputy Director and Chief Engineer, the Board of Water Commissioners for the City of Detroit, Water and Sewerage Department authorizes the Director to grant an increase in the amount of $4,000,000.00 and a time extension of 365 calendar days to the final completion date to DWSD Contract No. DWS-900 Inspection and In-Place Rehabilitation/Repair of Existing Sewers with Inland Waters Pollution Control, Inc., and also authorizes the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.

JUSTIFICATION
A new contract (DWS-903) to replace the four current sewer contracts (DWS-889, DWS-890, DWS-900 and DWS-901) has been advertised and anticipated start work date is expected to be after the expiration dates of the said four contracts.
