MOTION

Upon recommendation of Palencia Mobley, PE, Deputy Director/Chief Engineer, the Board of Water Commissioners authorizes the Director to approve the "Model Community Resolution Authorizing Execution of Wayne County Permits" form to facilitate the acquisition of DWSD's 2019 WCDPS Annual Permit, and also authorizes the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.

BACKGROUND
The Wayne County Department of Public Services requires all utilities including, governmental agencies such as DWSD, working in WCDPS's right of way to apply for and secure annual Maintenance (A-19005) and Pavement Restoration (A-19029) permits. WCDPS's right of way permit application previously only required a self-insured letter signed by the Director. However, WCDPS requires full execution of the attached Model Community Resolution by governmental agencies as part of the WCDPS right of way permit application.
