MOTION
Upon recommendation of Gary A Brown, Director the Board of Water Commissioners for the City of Detroit Water and Sewerage
A. Authorizes the Director to execute on behalf of the DWSD Contract 18-5527 (WS-714) between DWSD and MDOT regarding MDOT's performance of water main replacement on behalf of DWSD during MDOT's construction on Highway M-5 (Grand River Avenue).
B. Authorizes the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
BACKGROUND
MDOT is planning hot mix asphalt milling and resurfacing, streetscape, two-way cycle track, traffic signal, signing and pavement marking work along Highway M-5 (Grand River Avenue) from Highway M-39 (Southfield Freeway) to Berg Road.
