Personal Services for Fleet from Jon White II
MOTION
Upon recommendation of Mamata Burgi, Procurement Manager, the Board of Water Commissioners for the City of Detroit, Water and Sewerage Department, authorizes the Director to approve Amendment No. 4 to PS-1876 for a personal services contract with Jon White II, adding $90,000.00 in additional funding for a total amended not-to-exceed amount of $235,000.00 and adding 1 year to the term of the contract, and also authorizes the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
BACKGROUND / JUSTIFICATION
DWSD is updating the Fleet and Fuel Software and adding GPS to its vehicle fleet. DWSD expect cost savings, service improvement, and better accountability as a result of these enhancements. Jon White was the project manager who over saw the implementation of Assetworks to the General Fund fleet.
This amendment will allow Jon White II to continue providing project manager services needed to coordinate the implementation of Fleet and Fuel Software (Fleet & Fuel Focus) and GPS. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing this project with support from DWSD ITS, Fleet, Inventory, and other shareholders.
PROCUREMENT METHOD
The original contract award to Jon White II was approved by the BOWC on 12/20/17.
