MOTION
Upon recommendation of Mamata Burgi, Procurement Manager, the Board of Water Commissioners for the City of Detroit, Water and Sewerage Department authorizes the Director to approve two DWSD contracts for grounds maintenance services for a term of 5 years each: Premier Group Associates LLC (6002995) not-to-exceed $230,000 and RNA Facilities not-to-exceed $75,000 (6002999). This also authorizes the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
BACKGROUND / JUSTIFICATION
DWSD Facilities Department is responsible for maintaining and improving the cleanliness and beautification of the outdoor premises of five DWSD locations by providing a clean, safe and healthy environment for all customers, staff and communities. The maintenance of the premises includes; turf maintenance: mowing, edging and trimming, hedge and bush trimming, weed control of planting beds, turf areas, sidewalks...
