MOTION

Upon recommendation of Mamata Burgi, Procurement Manager, the Board of Water Commissioners for the City of Detroit, Water and Sewerage Department authorizes the Director to approve Contract No. 6002989 with Allied Building Service dba Allied Eagle Supply Company for pedestrian door maintenance, service, parts and repairs for all DWSD facilities for a duration of four years and an amount not-to-exceed $400,000. This also authorizes the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.


BACKGROUND / JUSTIFICATION
The Facilities department is responsible for the repairs and maintenance for all five (5) Detroit Water and Sewerage Department facilities. The five locations have approximately 344 pedestrian doors that are essential for daily operations.
