The Board of Water Commissioners for the City of Detroit, Water and Sewerage Department authorizes the Director to approve DWSD Contract 6003048 to piggyback City of Detroit Contract 6002056 with Star Crane and Hoist Service - Metro for as needed maintenance, service, parts and repairs for all cranes & hoists at DWSD facilities for a duration of 14 months and a total amount not-to-exceed $175,000. This also authorizes the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.

MOTION
Upon recommendation of Mamata Burgi, Procurement Manager, the Board of Water Commissioners for the City of Detroit, Water and Sewerage Department authorizes the Director to approve DWSD Contract 6003048 to piggyback City of Detroit Contract 6002056 with Star Crane and Hoist Service - Metro for as needed maintenance, service, parts and repairs for all cranes & hoists at DWSD facilities for a duration of 14 months and a total amount not-to-exceed $175,000. This also authorizes the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
BACKGROUND / JUSTIFICATION
