RE:                                          Approval of Water Main Easement Agreement

 

MOTION

Upon recommendation of Debra Pospiech, General Counsel of the Board of Water Commissioners for the City of Detroit (“the BOWC”), the BOWC authorizes the Director to enter into a Water Main Easement Agreement with Robertson Pullman Parc, LLC, on, a Michigan limited liability company, with an address of 6905 Telegraph Road, Suite 200, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan 48301,  to allow for access to operate, maintain and reconstruct or repair improvements on underground water pipelines and underground and surface appurtenances and facilities with respect to such pipelines, and also authorizes the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.

 

JUSTIFICATION

DWSD routinely enters into easement agreements to maintain its infrastructure and access to such infrastructure.

 

BACKGROUND

DWSD is accepting ownership of a newly installed water main, please see Bill of Sale attached to the Easement Agreement. In conjunction, DWSD desires to enter into a Easement Agreement. All supporting documentation is attached for review.
