MOTION
Upon recommendation of Palencia Mobley, Chief Engineer and Deputy Director, the Board of Water Commissioners for the City of Detroit, Water and Sewerage Department authorizes the Director to approve DWSD Contract 6003364 with Major Cement Contracting for Stormwater Improvements, watermain renewals and sewer rehab/replacement (Project PC-808) in the far-west neighborhood of Detroit for a total contract amount not-to-exceed $41,992,557.51 and a term of five years. This also authorizes the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
BACKGROUND / JUSTIFICATION
DWSD Project No. PC-808 is a comprehensive infrastructure improvement project that includes stormwater improvements, water main renewal and combined sewer replacement/rehabilitation.
