MOTION
Upon recommendation of Marqaicha Welch, Procurement Manager, the Board of Water Commissioners for the City of Detroit, Water and Sewerage Department authorizes the Director to approve DWSD Contract 6005362 (DWS-964) with Pipetek Infrastructure Services for Sewer Condition Assessment Services in Hubbard Farms, along Michigan Avenue, Midtown, and North Corktown, for a term of 2 years and a total contract amount not-to-exceed $5,579,680.14. This also authorizes the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
BACKGROUND / JUSTIFICATION
The existing DWSD sewer system within the City limits (approximately 3,000 miles of sewers ranging from 8" through 180") is approximately 90 years or older.
