MOTION
Upon recommendation of Thomas Naughton, Chief Finance Officer, the Board of Water Commissioners for the City of Detroit, Water and Sewerage Department authorizes the Director to execute an Emergency Change Order to add funds in the amount of $82,000.00 and extend the contract with ThyssenKrupp of Livonia, MI to the end of the end of fiscal year 2017-18 (June 30, 2018) for a total contract amount of $3,830,896,00 and also authorizes the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
JUSTIFICATION
This proposed extension (Fusion change order #3) will ensure continuation of preventative maintenance, service, and repair on DWSD elevators while it is decided whether we would be added to the City of Detroit's elevator contract, or competitively bid a new elevator contract.
