MOTION
Upon recommendation of Marqaicha Welch, Procurement Manager, the Board of Water Commissioners for the City of Detroit, Water and Sewerage Department authorizes the Director to approve DWSD Contract 6004444 with Major Contracting Group, Inc. to provide Hard Surface Restoration & Related Services in Detroit (Project DWS-919), for a total contract amount not-to-exceed $38,437,100 and a term of three (3) years. This also authorizes the Director to take such other action as may be necessary to accomplish the intent of this vote.
BACKGROUND / JUSTIFICATION
This proposed contract will replace DWSD's Contract 6003126 (Project# DWS-902) as part of its on-going repair work program. The work consists of repairing, trimming and/or removing pavement ,sidewalks, driveways and curb cuts, as needed throughout the City of Detroit.
